Caring

We are now the permanent caregivers of the Bird Woman.

My husband is working full-time and starts school mid-August, so I am the main caregiver.

I would warn that my posting may become sporadic, but it already is.

 My husband, daughter, and the Bird Woman all come before this, or any, blog.

P.S. The Bird Woman told me this morning how beautiful Chicory is.  I must be rubbing off.

Finally...

My husband used to tell the Bird Woman's husband that he wanted to buy this '79 Ford truck, Old Blue.  

The old farmer said "I'd give it to you, but that wouldn't do you any good.  When you are old enough and have the money, come talk to me."

We finally have enough money and room for it.

I'm sure the old man is happy my husband can now call this truck his own.

Old Blue has a hydraulic hay lift on the back instead of a normal truck bed, so it will be perfect once we get our farm.

Right now, a regular bed would be a bit more useful.

So we are building wooden railings instead.

Hopefully we'll finish the project before we have to move furniture on Friday.

Lettuce be thankful...

Lettuce came up today!
