     This blog is named Whimsical Maunderings because that is what it is.  It is the light-hearted ramblings of my life.

     My reasons for starting this blog are to motivate me to do more interesting things and to see ordinary things I do as interesting.  If this blog does its job efficiently, I will finish more projects and live a more interesting life.  If nothing else, just setting up this blog may be considered a test of fortitude and perseverance.
