Cello

I am learning the cello.

Our friends had one that their son no longer played, so I asked if I could borrow it.

I looked up online how to hold the cello, how to hold the bow, how to tune it, and finally, how to play it.

As soon as I pulled the bow across that low open C, I fell in love.

I knew that this was the instrument for me.

This is the only instrument that I have felt I can convey emotions with, the only instrument that I can get totally lost in.
